Now our lumber is stacked to dry. We still need to edge some flitches.

This can be done best with the Wood-Mizer two blade edger, but if you have only a few boards to edge, or no separate edger, this is how to continue. I have three flitches form our walnut log, and two more from a previous log to edge. I put all five flitches on the mill. Usually eight flitches is the maximum.

Put any flat edges down, even if they need more edging. Clamp the flitches.
