Cut through the log, go up and back over the top to the front of the log. Drop down to 10-3/16". This will give me the standard 4/4 thickness board, (1-1/16"). I always allow 3/16" for kerfs when cutting flooring lumber or furniture lumber, unless the customer wants different. Repeat cutting at 11-3/8", 10-3/16", 9", and 7-13/16".

When finished with the four cuts, turn the entire log.
