Now open the clamp all the way and simply roll the log over so the flat is down, the clamp will move the log back.We rarely use the hydraulic turner on logs of this size. It is much faster to roll them by hand. Just open the clamp nearly all the way and roll the small log towards the clamp. let the clamp move the log back to the clamp position. Cut at 7-1/8". This setting will yield two blocks at 3-1/2" plus one 1/8" kerf.
